Our Dad, Our Hero.
To us Dad you were our Hero
To protect us and serve your family,
you always thought of us first,
you always put yourself last.
You were truly a parent, a father, a dad.
The same heroism you had to save a ship,
and your fellow crew men
is the same heroism you showed us
by being there for us.
To say we love you is not enough,
so we try to live like you,
putting others needs before our own,
helping others in need.
You left us a legacy, a legacy of integrity,
bravery, servitude,
Thank you Dad for this,
Thank you for being our hero our Dad.

LORD, Make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that
I may not so much seek to be
consoled as to console; to be
understood as to understand; to be
loved as to love; for It is in giving that we
receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
